This woman is awesome! She started in the modeling industry at 14 and became anorexic from the body pressure. A critique of her physique was a turning point for her. She didn’t fit the typical modeling mold and was literally dying to.
“I said, ‘If I diet any more I am going to die.”
She was given two alternatives – catalog modeling or plus size.
“I said Plus Size, of course!” says Renn – and it changed the course of her life.
She has since worked with the most amazing designers and photographers and can boast a breath-taking portfolio of work. Not that she would (but she might!).
She is also making great strides for the acceptance of a healthier female body type (and we love her for that!).
When her hand was forced she says, “I didn’t change my job, but I did change the rules.”
Which means, She Rules.
